A NURTURING SPACE to HEAL your MIND, BODY, and SPIRIT
A Place to Heal Wounds that Run Deep
You’re someone that has always appeared to have it all together… whether that be at work, home, school, or with friends. However, no matter what the outside looks like, there is something preventing you from truly feeling the happy.
Do you feel empty, alone, and disconnected, as if you are just going through the motions of life?
You feel disconnected, jaded, unfulfilled, and depressed. Maybe you’ve experienced challenges at work or struggle with painful past experiences or maybe are struggling with the relationships in your life. You may crave more from life, but don’t know how to get there. You may feel like the people around you would never understand, or maybe you feel like the mask you put on for everyone else is tearing you apart.
Deep down you want to live a genuine and authentic life where you can accept all parts of you - mind, body, and spirit. You may want to live a life where things just don’t feel this way, but finding the time, courage, and energy to make changes feels overwhelming. You’re ready to start chipping away at old patterns that keep you stuck, and expand your consciousness to break old patterns that are holding you back - you may just need the support to make that happen.
If you are looking for a practice with the background to understand you…
…you’re in the right place.
Hi, I’m Seema.
Chief Traumatologist. Founder of Holistic Trauma Therapy. Professor. Researcher. Board Member. Business Owner. And lifelong student of holistic healing and the human experience.
Before becoming a trauma therapist, I spent over 25 years in Senior Leadership across Fortune 500 companies, start-ups, and global organizations. I understand the pressure of performing at a high level, leading international teams, traveling extensively, and holding everything together at home—while internally feeling stressed, disconnected, or quietly overwhelmed.
I also understand how difficult it can be to find a therapist who truly grasps the nuances of that life. The ambition. The responsibility. The cultural and relational layers. The invisible stress that doesn’t always “look” like trauma—but lives in the nervous system all the same.
This private practice was created for people who are balancing it all, longing for a space to feel deeply understood, and ready to make meaningful change.
At Holistic Trauma Therapy, we specialize in trauma in all its forms—developmental trauma, complex PTSD, attachment wounds, sexual trauma, religious trauma, and corporate burnout. We understand how trauma shapes the nervous system, relationships, identity, and leadership capacity. And we know that insight alone is rarely enough.
Holistic trauma therapy, as we practice it, goes beyond traditional talk therapy. We integrate somatic trauma therapy, EMDR therapy, attachment-informed work, and nervous system regulation. We don’t just explore what happened—we work with how your body adapted to survive it.
In this practice, therapy is depth-oriented, relational, and intentional. I take the time to understand your patterns, your history, and the protective strategies that once kept you safe. Our goal is not simply symptom relief—but integration. Embodiment. A return to yourself.
If you’re ready to move beyond survival and into a fuller, freer, more grounded life, I would be honored to walk that journey with you.

Somatic Therapy
Your body holds the stories of your experiences, even the ones your mind tries to forget. Somatic therapy offers a gentle, body-centered approach to healing trauma, helping you reconnect with your inner strength and release what no longer serves you. It’s not just about talking—it’s about feeling whole again.
05
Sex Therapy for Abuse Survivors
Do you struggle with intimacy or feel stuck in the shadows of past abuse? Specialized sex therapy helps survivors of sexual trauma, domestic violence, and betrayal reclaim their connection to themselves and their relationships. You deserve a compassionate approach that honors your healing journey.
06
EMDR Therapy
When trauma feels like it’s running your life, EMDR therapy can help you take back control. EMDR therapy works by guiding your brain to reprocess painful memories, turning overwhelming emotions into manageable reflections. This transformative approach helps trauma survivors regain their confidence and liberation from the past.
INSIGHT.
We begin by understanding your story. Together, we explore patterns shaped by childhood trauma, attachment wounds, and nervous system adaptations. Through trauma-informed, depth-oriented therapy, you gain clarity about how early experiences influence your relationships, leadership, anxiety, perfectionism, or sense of self today. Insight brings language to what once felt confusing or overwhelming.
EMBODIMENT.
But insight alone is not enough. Trauma lives in the body. Through holistic trauma therapy, somatic trauma therapy, EMDR therapy, and nervous system regulation, we work with how your body learned to survive. You’ll learn to track sensations, build internal safety, and gently release stored stress. Embodiment allows healing to move from intellectual understanding into lived experience.
TRANSFORMATION.
As insight meets embodiment, transformation becomes possible. Old protective patterns soften. Relationships shift. Your nervous system stabilizes. You begin responding rather than reacting. This is not about becoming someone new—it’s about integrating the parts of you that had to fragment in order to cope. The result is greater freedom, authenticity, and the capacity to live and lead from a grounded, regulated place.
